Evaporation Boat
Evaporation Boat was made of Boron Nitride,Titanium diboride and Aluminium nitride powder by hot pressing under 2000°C, 300bar. By using evaporation boat, aluminum, silver, zinc could be evaporated onto surface of film (OPP, PET) to make food package film, condenser film, window film, and home appliance decoration film. 3M Technical ceramics provides two component DiMet and three component TriMet and LaserMet evaporation boat according to different resistivity.
Boron Nitride power
Boron Nitride power has excellent thermal conductivity, electrical insulation,nd lubricity. And 3M Technical Ceramics has various product portfolios such as Cooling filler platelets, Cooling filer agglomerates, Cooling filler flake. We can meet various particle size and shape according to application.
3M Boron Nitride sintered parts
3M Boron Nitride sintered parts has high thermal resistance, electrical insulation, thermal conductivity and lubricity. And combination with SiC, Zirconia, it has various BN-composite materials. The application are electronics, semiconductor, LED, OLED, insulator in vacuum furnace, side-dam in steel industry, refractory industry and etc.
BN coating (Suspension Cast series)
BN coating (Suspension Cast series) is used as a release agent in many industries, and especially it is very useful in Aluminum casting and extrusion application as a release agent. It has high layer strength and flexibility in high temperature with excellent lubricity. They were developed by patent binder system.
Boron Carbide (B4C)
Boron Carbide (B4C) sintered part has extremely high hardness, and has light weight after sintering compared to other ceramics. By sintering, they are used for body and vehicle armor, and used as sand blasting nozzle. Due to its long life time and stable quality, it is used insmart phone glass processingnowadays.
Sintered SiC
Sintered SiC has excellent chemical resistance, high hardness, wear resistance, and thermal conductivity. So they are mainly used for bearing, mechanical seal ring, TCS and etc. Recently, SiC heat exchanger was developed.
According to application, 3M Technical ceramics provides Ekasic F, F plus, T, P and G grades.
Silicon Nitrideriser tube
Silicon Nitrideriser tube, thermocouple protection sheaths (TCS) and heater tubes have high corrosion resistance, thermal shock resistance and long life time for the aluminum industry. By feature of its high quality, SN products is getting important in the Aluminum industry.
Boron Carbide powder (B4C)
Boron Carbide powder (B4C)is used for abrasives, anti-oxidants, and sinteringraw materials, and due to its neutron capture ability, B4C powder can be used inatomic power plant. When it was sintered, by its high hardness and light weight, it is very important material for armor industry.
Calcium hexaboride (CaB6)
Calcium hexaboride (CaB6)belongs to cubic hexaboride group and economic product among borides, which contains high Boron. By its high Boron contents, it is very useful to react with Oxygen, so it has very good role of anti-oxidant especially in copper industry.
Zirconium Diboride (ZrB2)
Zirconium Diboride (ZrB2)powder belongs to the group that has metallic hardness, so it has very high hardness, excellent electrical conductivity, and thermal shock resistance.  Furthermore, when contacting of metallic or non-metallic molten liquid, it shows very excellent corrosion esistance.
So it can be used in submerged entry nozzle for steel industry.
Titanium Diboride (TiB2)
Titanium Diboride (TiB2) powder also belongs to the group that has metallic hardness, besides its very high hardness, it has very high electrical conductivity, thermal stability, and inert against non-metal liquid.
Silicon Carbide (SiC)
Silicon Carbide (SiC) powder provides good thermal conductivity, wear resistance and thermal resistance, and it is raw material of reaction bonding or presureless sintering parts. SiC powder has green and dark grades according to various size and purity.
3M Friction shim
3M Friction shim is nickel-diamond coated steel foil, which can increase static friction coefficient by app. 4 times. In every flange connection area, it could be used and can solve friction problem, and it helps very compact design by increased friction coefficient. Currently, friction shim is used in automotive and wind energy industry.
